Commander's Corner June 2008

            VFW Post #970 (Colonel Horace Hickam Post) is a community asset that can and does help veterans and their families while offering the community and camaraderie that many veterans have missed since they completed their service time.  We try to live up to the mantra “still serving” in our outreach and programs.  We invite all eligible veterans to become part of our fold with our post (970), department (Hawaii), and national organization (Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States of America).
